The VDS300 was our first annual candle and remains the simplest one we make: a classic ribbed shape, no image and no symbol, lit for most of a year by a single set of large batteries.
The candle comes in white, red, silver, gold and black, and in a mixed pack.
Seven flames are available. A flickering red or yellow light lasts the longest, close to 360 days; a steady red or yellow light and the white flame reach around 300 days; the red and yellow flame imitations, which move like a real flame, run for about 200 days.
Two large D batteries are needed and are not supplied with the candle.
